The Skeeters Foundation is accepting 2021 grant applications through Monday night, according to a Friday tweet from the organization.

Each year, the Skeeters Foundation donates money to various charities and nonprofit organizations throughout Fort Bend County. According to the organization, the foundation gave out $40,000 in donations to nonprofits such as ACHIEVE Fort Bend, Boys and Girls Club of Greater Houston, Hope for Three, Fort Bend Rainbow Room and Arc of Fort Bend County last year to help advance their missions.

“Our goal is to reward the kindness and support of the community by making a difference in the lives of children,” the foundation’s mission statement reads. “By providing a number of opportunities for vulnerable populations, we are taking away the sting of isolation and welcoming them wholeheartedly to join their community.”

Applications will be accepted through 11:59 p.m. Monday, March 15. To submit an application or find more information about the Skeeters Foundation, visit
