Fort Bend County has launched a new website and mobile application for those seeking information about county government and function, according to County Judge KP George’s office.

A news release from the county said the web address (FBCTX.gov) and the “MyFBC” are the results of ongoing conversations about web options to help better communicate with its residents.

“This has been a priority for my administration since I took office in January of 2019, it is an honor to finally see the vision become the reality because of the hard work and dedication of our Information Technology staff,” County Judge KP George said.

Officials said fortbendcountytx.gov will still be the active home website for the county, but that the shortened address is a streamlined improvement. On the mobile app, the release said residents can access county services and resources, voting information, jury and court information, pay property taxes, receive active emergency notifications and more in over 100 different languages.

The mobile app can be downloaded from the Apple Store and Google Play Store.
