Fort Bend County Judge KP George announced Thursday the county has added a COVID-19 vaccination site at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds in Rosenberg.

The site manager at the fairgrounds said the site administered 1,000 vaccine doses Thursday.

The county now has four mass vaccination sites, including at Smart Financial Centre in Sugar Land, the Houston Community College branch in Missouri City, and the Katy Mills Mall.

To receive a vaccine at a Fort Bend County Health and Human Services (FBCHHS) facility, residents can register at https://vaccinewaitlist.fortbendcountytx.gov/ or call 281-633-7795.

“Our goal is to vaccinate everyone in Fort Bend County as soon as possible,” George said.

According to data from the Texas Department of State Health Services (TDSHS), 206,581 people in Fort Bend County have been vaccinated with at least one dose and 116,218 have been fully vaccinated as of Monday.

The county administered 84,337 of those vaccine doses at its facilities as of Monday, according to the county’s data hub.
