Local officials across Greater Houston are encouraging area residents to get a COVID-19 vaccination to help the region achieve herd immunity.
The Fort Bend Church at 1900 Eldridge Rd. in Sugar Land will host a COVID-19 vaccine clinic from 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Saturday, according to a joint news release from the offices of Sugar Land Mayor Joe Zimmerman and Houston Mayor Slyvester Turner.
Appointments for the Pfizer Vaccine are recommended and can be made at https://www.thebend.org/, but walk-ins are also welcome, officials said in the news release.
The clinic is supported by Kroger, Fort Bend County Health & Human Services (FBCHHS) and the Houston Health Department.
From 2 p.m.- 6 p.m. Sunday in Sugar Land, the American Legion Hall at 311 Ulrich St. will hold a Pfizer vaccination clinic hosted by FBCHHS and the City of Sugar Land.
