The City of Sugar Land will host its annual International Art and Kite Festival from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday at Brazos River Park, 18427 Southwest Fwy.
This year's celebration will feature musical performances and dance groups on the main stage throughout the event.
Additionally, all attendees can model different cultural costumes on the main stage.
There will also be an on-site art contest, with this year's theme being "Embracing Cultures."
Other festival activities available during the day will include attractions such as train rides, photo stations, self-guided art exhibits and a cultural playground featuring games from around the world.
Parking will be free at Brazos River Park, according to the city's website, and culture-specific food and drinks will be available for purchase. Masks are recommended for all attending, but are not required for entry, as is social distancing.
