Fort Bend ISD

Fort Bend ISD announced Friday that all its campuses and facilities will be closed Tuesday due to the cold front moving through the Houston region that is expected to bring record lows to Fort Bend County.

The district said all students will conduct online learning through FBISD’s Schoology digital platform on Tuesday. FBISD said it will announce any further information regarding potential closures based on weather developments.

All extracurricular activities and practices scheduled for Monday and Tuesday have been called off, the district, said, while the “Grab-N-Go” meal service will not be provided Tuesday.

“The safety of our community is our top priority,” the district said in a news release. “We strongly encourage our families to take the necessary precautions and prioritize the safety of your family, pets and property.”

For up-to-date information about schedule changes due to weather, community members can call the district’s severe weather hotline at 281-634-4636.

Stafford MSD posted on its website that all of its campuses will also be conducting virtual learning only on Tuesday.
