Fort Bend ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) department will host a face-to-face open house for The Early Education Lab at the James Reese Career and Technical Center at 12300 University Blvd. in Sugar Land. The event is scheduled for 5:30-7 p.m. April 28.

The Early Education Lab is a tuition-based program offering children exposure to pre-kindergarten curriculum by certified teachers, according to a news release from the district. The district said the Early Education Lab program “promotes personal ownership of learning, responsibility, autonomy and curiosity about the world as well as everyday routine opportunities to observe, inquire, and communicate.

In adherence with COVID-19 protocols, the district said there are three separate time slots available, with a maximum of 15 students per session:

  • 5:30-6 p.m.
  • 6-6:30 p.m.
  • 6:30-7 p.m.

Upon arrival, FBISD said there will be a guided tour of The Early Education Lab area by the teachers and staff members, followed by a PowerPoint presentation of the program and a question-and-answer session.
