The Sugar Land Skeeters are looking for volunteers to sing the national anthem before home games this season.

Applications for tryouts, which will take place from 4-7 p.m. May 5 at Constellation Field, are due by May 1, according to the Skeeters’ website.

No music or lyrical sheets will be allowed at the tryout and all auditions will be performed a cappella, though instrumental performances will be accepted.
